PTO (Professional/Technical/Operational) Staff Working Group
All members of SMD professional/technical/operational staff are welcome.
The purpose of the working group will be will be:
- To create a network of professional staff interested in furthering gender equality within the School of Medicine.
- To pinpoint and address the issues that specifically affect professional staff and barriers to success.
- To share ideas and policies relating to good practice in recruitment, retention and promotion of staff in line with our gender equality charter
- To hear from staff about particular areas of concern such as flexible working, time off or time out, mentoring and support, progression and work/life balance.

The PTO Staff Working Group will be launching a mentoring scheme in 2018. This page will be updated when there is more information about this.
