Testimonials from last year’s course:

"I really enjoyed being able to put the theory into practice by thinking about developing research questions, topic guides and getting to practice semi-structured. I feel this has given me a good grounding to do further reading."

"I feel the link between theory and practice was useful for developing my PhD"

"Really enjoyed the course; it was balanced very well between the theory and practical tasks"

"Good documents. A lot of group discussion. Practice of observation and interview very useful."

"Emphasis on reflexivity during the first two days so, e.g. even if you know about research questions it is important to continuously think about it."
